They say that when you meet the New Year, you will spend it! So why not spend the most magical night of the year for fun games, so that the whole family will remember, and the children will not be bored. We have prepared for you children's games for the New Year, so you can frolic from the heart in the circle of loved ones.

1. New Year's predictions

Write on separate pieces of paper the names of all guests and fold in an opaque bag or hat. Write questions on a separate page. For example:

  • Who is going on a trip this year?
  • Who will be the best at school?
  • Who's going to buy a new dress?
  • Who's moving into a new house?
  • Who will win the competition?
  • Who will have a dream come true in the new year?

Then choose an assistant who will take out the names from the bag. Read the question, and let the assistant take out a leaflet with the name to whom the prediction is addressed.

2. What's in the magic box?

Everyone can feel like a magician on New Year’s Eve. For the game you will need a box that can be decorated in advance and some items. Hide one or more items in a box and place it on a chair in the middle of the room.

Then invite one of the guests to “sort” and then ask the others how they think they appeared in the box, guessing the prize. If there are a lot of children, you can put several prizes in the box so that everyone leaves the game with a gift.

3. Fun balls.

To play, you need to inflate the balls and ask the participants to draw any association with the new year on them. Then, by voting, choose the author of the best drawing and give him a prize. Painted balls after the game will serve as an additional decoration of the festive night.

4. Snowballs.

Crumple the white sheets of paper, they will be our snowballs. The target may be an ordinary bucket or basin. You can play in different ways. We suggest moving away from the target by 5-7 steps and throwing snowballs into a bucket to cheerful music. For example, each participant has 30 to 40 seconds to hit the target. Whoever scores more wins.

5. Depict the symbol of the New Year

All guests can participate in this game. If you decide to organize a competition among children, then invite everyone to come up with a script for their performance and depict the symbol of the New Year. The author of the most interesting scenario wins.

Have fun on a festive night!

How can you teach a child to be tidy? By setting a personal example. In a sports-oriented family, children grow up to be agile and resilient; parents who read books can spark a child’s interest in the mysteries of the literary world. Disciplined and tidy people live in clean and orderly environments. For younger children, cleaning in a playful way is a good option, while for older children, sharing household chores equally with parents is ideal.
